Pendant

595.00

For hundreds of years, Native people throughout the Americas used plant fibers and grasses to weave baskets to carry food or wood, winnow grains, store possessions, and give as gifts. Basket designs are as varied as the plants, tress and grasses used to make them. The basket collection at the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture is sizable and impressive and served as inspiration for the Maze Pendant Light. The CestinoPendant from the Crossroads Collection is inspired by a woven yucca fiber basket in the collections of the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture.

The shade is large scale and is made of hand-woven rattan peel with leather hanging details and single bulb pendant kit.
